Harvard University professor studies program open lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual which is the first in the United States as well as showing increased U.S. attention to the academic world on matters relating to sexual relations.

One of the Ivy League campus (a collection of eight elite U.S. universities), they will invite a large guest teachers to teach sexuality and the problems associated with sexual minorities for a semester, said an official Harvard.

While other universities are still limited to offering short courses and degree programs for the study of sexuality, the program for the Harvard professor who studies sexuality will be permanently financed by the university, making Harvard the first university in the U.S. that offer courses like this.

Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus has poured 1.5 million U.S. dollar fund to finance professorship program officially titled “FOR Matthiessen Visiting professorship of Gender and Sexuality”, which perpetuate a U.S. scholar and literary critic, FOR Matthiessen.
